Gerald Tucker

Gerald Addison Tucker, 72, of Spartanburg, SC, went home to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, May 15, 2016. Born May 5, 1944, in Washington, GA, he was the son of the late James Robert Tucker and Fannie Lou Herring Tucker. Mr. Tucker was the owner of Gerald's in Spartanburg and Greenville for over 30 years. He was a member of Croft Baptist Church, a Mason and member of the Shriners Gold Society, a longtime supporter of Mobile Meals Service, the Spartanburg County Food Bank, the American Cancer Society, and the SC Family Judicial Court Committee. Surviving are his wife, Millie Tucker of the home; children, Audie M. Tucker of Spartanburg, SC, Farron Tucker of Chesnee, SC, Rhonda Marsha Schmidt (Bob), and Gerald Mitchell "Mitch" Tucker of Spartanburg, SC; grandchildren, Jessie Tucker, Brandi Tucker, Meagan Schmidt, Kaelan Schmidt, Addison Tucker, and Faith Tucker; great-grandson, Ellis Tucker; sister, Sarah Bradley of Rock Hill, SC; and brothers, Heyward Tucker, Luke Tucker, and Robert Tucker, all of Rock Hill, SC. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2016 and 1:00-1:45 PM Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Joe Dempsey and the Rev. Michael Bradley. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
