George Stuart Sabin

April 24, 1969 — June 16, 2024

Spartanburg

George Stuart Sabin was a caring son, father, and friend. He left this world suddenly on June 16th 2024 at age 55.

He was born the 24th of April, 1969 in Greenville, SC. He attended elementary school in Lexington, SC and graduated from High School in Jacksonville, FL. Stuart graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1993 with his dream degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Technology. After a stint with Kirchman Corporation and Perot Systems in Orlando, Florida, Stuart moved back home to Upstate South Carolina to Spartanburg. There, he focused on Information Technology infrastructure providing services to major companies such as Benore Logistics Systems, and BMW Manufacturing Greer. He also was an aspiring entrepreneur and ran a small business selling electric mopeds.

Stuart and his former wife, Melody Smothers Sabin, are the proud parents of Aidan Bryce Sabin who after attending the SC Governor’s School for Science and Math is now a Sophomore at the University of Rochester, NY majoring in Mechanical Engineering. When not immersed in Information Technology, Stuart enjoyed woodworking and volunteering with computer literacy programs for kids.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. His favorite quote comes from Walt Disney: “If you can dream it, you can do it.”
