Gail Clark Quidley

Gail Clark Quidley, born March 6, 1943, passed peacefully at her son’s home on July 21, 2026. She was predeceased by her parents Carl Franklin Melton, Sr., and Gaynelle Rollins Melton; a sister Sandy Deering; a daughter, Barbara Suttles; her first husband, Frank D. Clark, Sr., in 1993, and her second husband, Thomas G. Quidley, Jr., in 2004. She is survived by her two sons, Carl Clark of Chesnee, SC, and Mike Clark (Shanna) of Pacolet, SC.

She had 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was an employee of Betras Plastics where she retired to travel with her husband, Thomas. She was a great mother and Nanny to her grandbabies and great grandbabies. She was loved by anyone who met her.

A visitation will take place from 6-8 pm on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC, 29316. A graveside service will be held the following morning at 10 am on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Her grandsons will be serving as pallbearers. The family will be at their respective homes.
