Frances Bryant Robinette

Mrs. Frances Bryant Robinette, 92, of Pacolet died Sunday, May 10, 2026, at her home. She was born on February 25, 1934, in Central Pacolet, a daughter of the late Edgar and Cecil Bean Bryant and wife of the late Neil Kenneth Robinette.

She was a 1952 graduate of Pacolet High School, a retired florist having worked at Fleming’s Florist and then Thornton’s Florist, the oldest member of First Baptist Church of Pacolet for over 80 years, a member of the Women of Christ Sunday School Class, former Sunday School teacher of the children’s class, Church Choir and a soloist, and served on the pulpit and food committees.

Surviving are her children, Phyllis Gowan of Pacolet, Pamela R. Humphries (Dale) of Spartanburg and Kenneth R. Robinette (Claudia) of Marston, NC; Grandchildren, John William Humphries, Andrew Hadden, Sara Gregg, Neil Robinette, Gabrielle Goodwin; great grandchildren, Grace Gregg, Maggie Humphries, Madelyn Goodwin, Luke Humphries, Lewis Gregg, Claudia Robinette, Grey Goodwin, Beverly Robinette and Ruth Robinette. In addition to her parents, husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Harland Bryant.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, May 14, 2025, at the First Baptist Church of Pacolet conducted by the Rev. Tommy Sparks. A visitation will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be John Humphries, Travis Gregg, Luke Humphries, Lewis Gregg, Andrew Hadden, and Paul Blackwell.
