Evelyn V. Marlowe, 85, of Windsor House on John B. White, Sr. Boulevard, Spartanburg, died Friday, May 1, 2009, at Mary Black Hospital. Born April 2, 1924 in Washington Court House, OH, she was the daughter of the late Luther and May Lambert Forbis and widow of W. Jack Marlowe. She was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Smith and husband T. Randolph Smith of Moore, and Sherry Wheeler and husband John of Newnan, GA; a son, Jack Marlowe and wife Cindy of Conroe, TX; two granddaughters, Tracy Jones and husband Chris of Westwood, MA, and Trisha Marlowe of Conroe, TX; two grandsons, Russ Smith of Waltham, MA, and Kevin Marlowe of Conroe, TX; and a great-grandson, Parker Jones of Westwood, MA.
