Ethelene Mize

Ethelene Mize, 94, of Boiling Springs, formerly of Cowpens, died Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Summer Place Assisted Living-Boiling Springs. Born December 15, 1917, in Cowpens, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Sanders and a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Cowpens. Survivors include her daughters, LaVare Leith of Zebulon, NC, Carolyn Wright of Nashville, TN, and Jewel Coker of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Melisa Coker, Heather Alford, Mark Wright, Vance Wright, Ron Wright, Dr. Derrick Belue, Jason Belue, Daniel Bart Wilson, Carla Wild, Sonnie McFarland, LC Zachary McFarland U.S. Marine, and Seth McFarland; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two daughters, Victoria Lynn Mize and Nellie Belue; and her former husband, Sonny Mize. A memorial service celebrating her life will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, March 23, 2012, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, by Chaplin Rick Millwood.
