Ethel Brockman Harman McCraw, 89, of Summit Hills, formerly of Collins Avenue, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 29, 1920, in Reidville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Walter and Lillie Satterfield Brockman. She was first married to the late Paul K. Harman and then to the late Boyd T. McCraw. She owned and operated Darboux Beauty Salon for over 50 years and was a cosmetologist for 70 years. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and an avid ballroom dancer. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda H. Campbell and her husband Joseph L. of Jacksonville, FL; two granddaughters, Pamela Campbell Fuchs of Jupiter, FL, and Paula Campbell Risler of Longwood, FL; and three great-grandsons, Daniel David Risler, Joseph Campbell Risler, and Connor Campbell Fuchs. Visitation will be 3:00-3:45 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. David E. Nichols and the Rev. David B. Smith. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family requests that visiting be limited to the visitation and funeral service only. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
