Ellen White

Ellen Dearybury White passed away peacefully Saturday, August 27, 2022 at her home in Cowpens, SC. Born June 4, 1937, Ellen was the youngest daughter of Charlie Hammett and Ellen Lipscomb Dearybury. She was the loving wife of the late Dennis White for 59 years.

Surviving are her children, Denise Smith (Troy), Alan White (Missy) and Neal White. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kari Balliew, Matthew White, Neal White II, Tyler White, April Morris, Katie White and Maddie White, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family being predeceased by her brothers, William Dearybury, Cornelius Dearybury and Louie Dearybury, and her sisters, Jeanette Greene, Peggy Sarratt and Gloria Dearybury.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday September 14, 2022 in Springhill Memorial Gardens, 1011 S Alabama Ave., Chesnee, SC.
