Elaine Joyner Pruitt

Elaine Joyner Pruitt, 59, of Spartanburg passed away on Sunday evening, April. 7, 2024, at her residence. Elaine was born August 21, 1964, in Franklin, VA, a daughter to the late Edna Robertson Joyner and Shady Lee “Buck” Joyner. 

Elaine was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Southampton Academy and received her Bachelor of Science degree from Longwood College. 

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Paul Pruitt of Spartanburg; her sister, Clair J. Evens of Pensacola, FL: and her uncle, Carlton Robertson (Connie) of Edenton, NC. 

A memorial service to honor Elaine’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Steven H. Rhodes. Visitation will follow the memorial service in the Chapel. 

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to your local Humane Society.
