Edward Heath Yarborough, III

Edward Heath Yarborough III, 77, of Inman, died Monday, August 28, 2023, at the Hospice House of Summerville. A native of Wilmington, NC, he was born on August 29, 1945, a son of the late Edward Heath Yarborough II and Ruth Harkey Yarborough and was married to the late Marsha Chapman Yarborough and Gayle Jones Yarborough. 

He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and attended North Carolina State University. He was a Mason and Shriner and was the owner/manager of Diamond Jewelers in downtown Spartanburg for 49 years. 

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Coley Yarborough; a son, Edward Heath Yarborough IV (Lara Lynn) of Mt. Pleasant; one granddaughter, Olivia Faith Yarborough; two stepsons, Matt Coley and Brett Coley; step grandson, Andrew Coley; brother, Dan C. Yarborough (Mary Page) of Spartanburg. 

A visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 pm Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Benjamin Littlejohn. A burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
