Eddie A. Williams

Eddie A. Williams, 80, of Boiling Springs, SC died Monday, July 17, 2023 at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born March 5, 1943 in Morganton, NC, he was the son of the late Arthur Carbon and Anna Maude Murry Williams and the husband of the late Mary Maldonia Roof Williams for 43 years.

A US Army veteran, Mr. Williams was the owner of the 96 Fuel Center in Gaffney. He was a lifelong member of Gravely Memorial United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday School, was very active with the Young At Heart and visited the church members who were confined to their homes.

Eddie was a family man who loved and cherished his family.

Survivors include his stepdaughters, Tina M. James of Spartanburg, SC, Christine Kimbrell of Boiling Springs; granddaughters, Victoria Johnson (Justin) and Caitlin Powell (Tyler); great-grandson, Carter Culp; great granddaughter, Tinsley Powell; and niece, Angela McAbee.

Graveside service will be 12:00 Noon Thursday, July 20, 2023 in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens, 4081 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316, conducted by The Rev. Scott Gilmer.
