Eddie Stepp

Eddie Gene Stepp, 77, of Spartanburg, SC died Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born January 29, 1945, in Chesnee, SC, he was the son of the late Sam and Ossie Parris Stepp.

A graduate of Fairforest High School and Spartanburg Technical College, Eddie was retired from Beaumont Mill after 30 years of service, and then went on to work for United Cloth. He was a member of Green Point Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sons, Kelly Stepp (Jennifer) and Dean Stepp (Sheila), all of Spartanburg, SC, his grandchildren, Cameron Stepp, Kristin West, Ryan Mitchell, Craig Stepp, Shelby Stepp, Wade Stepp and Whitney Stepp Bassil, and 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister and seven brothers.

Visitation will be at 11:30 am – 12:30 pm Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Tyler Estes. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
