Dr. Patricia Helm McRobbie

Dr. Patricia Helm McRobbie, 74, originally of Dundee, Scotland, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Salford, United Kingdom, following a long illness.

She was born on February 21, 1952, to her parents, Bob and Dorothy Ritchie.

Patricia was the devoted wife of David McRobbie for 36 years. In 1991, she relocated to Spartanburg, where she joined Spartanburg Regional Medical Center and dedicated herself to teaching resident physicians. A respected geriatric specialist, Dr. McRobbie played a key role in the development of the Sage Center for Senior Health, where she worked until 2009.

She will be remembered as a knowledgeable and compassionate individual, deeply valued by all who knew her.

Patricia is survived by her sister, Joan; her brother, Alan; and her stepson, Andrew.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, at 1:00 p.m. GMT at Overdale Crematorium in Bolton, United Kingdom. The service will be livestreamed to close friends and a link to the recording will be made available here for seven days thereafter.
