Douglas Bradley

Douglas Clyde Bradley, Sr., 79, of Spartanburg, passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at home. He was born February 4, 1944, in Startex. He was the son of the late Coy Woodrow Bradley and Bertha Mae Pritchard Bradley Pace.

Douglas was a member of the Tucapau Baptist Church, where he was the former treasurer and a deacon. He loved and was devoted to the Lord and his family. He retired as a pipefitter with 28 years of service with the Spartanburg Water System. He was also a member of the St. Johns Lodge #333 AFM.

Survivors include his wife, Helen, a son, Douglas C. Bradley, Jr. (Larissa) of Spartanburg, SC; a granddaughter, Alicia Marie Bradley Kynoski (Zack) of James Island, SC; a grandson, Jadynn Hammitt, of Spartanburg; a brother and sister- in- law, Herman Bradley (Natisha); a sister, Patricia Martin, of Startex, SC, and a brother- in -law Ron Curry, of Charleston, SC.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Cox. Masonic Rites will be conducted by St. Johns Lodge#333 AFM.

Visitation will follow at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tucapau Baptist Church Building Fund, P O Box 250, Startex, SC  29377 or a charity of one’s choice.
