Dorothy Elizabeth LeMaster Roberts

Dorothy Elizabeth LeMaster Roberts, age 94, of Spartanburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Lakewood Senior Living.  She was born in Spartanburg and was the daughter of the late Ralph V. LeMaster and Christine Evans LeMaster.  She was married to Joe D. Roberts for 78 years.

She was employed as a Parking Control Officer from 1957 until 1990.  Dorothy was a faithful member and served as a Deaconess for many years of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Spartanburg and she loved her family.

Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Joe, a son, Barry Joe Roberts, a daughter, Linda Elizabeth Roberts, brothers, Gary, Leon, Earl and Park Roberts, and sisters, Katherine Privette, and Rachel Mitchell.  She is survived by her daughter, Sherrie R. Ogle (James), grandson, David Dunn (Melissa), great granddaughter, Taylor Dunn, Samantha Bolt (Jonah), great-great grandchildren, Folly Rae Bolt and Tilson Lee Bolt and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 30, from 12:00 until 12:45 pm at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel.  Her funeral will be held at 1:00pm in the chapel and burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.  Pastor Don Davis will officiate.
