Dorothy Hoekman

Dorothy “MaMa” Tinsley Hoekman, 97, wife of the late Robert Hoekman, passed away on October 21, 2021.   Mrs. Hoekman was born January 2, 1924, a daughter of the late Marshall and Lucille Smith Tinsley.

Mrs. Hoekman was a salesperson in a pawn shop who enjoyed her family immensely.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Pam Law and James Gossett both of Spartanburg.  Great-grandchildren, Dale, Brad, Charles and Ivy; Great-great grandchildren, Atlas and Sora.  Mrs. Hoekman was pre-deceased by her daughter, Jane Gossett and a grandson, Robbie Gossett.
