Dorothy Brinkmann

Dorothy Ann Pearson Brinkmann, 90, of Spartanburg, SC, died on Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born September 2, 1925, in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of the late Morris Dewey and Deon Rinehart Pearson and wife of the late Frank August Brinkmann. Survivors include her daughters, Susie Suits (Greg) and Sally Ashley (Sam) both of Spartanburg, SC; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two very special friends, "adoptive daughters", Pam Moore Barrett of Greensboro, NC and Cindy Moore Sparks of Columbia, SC. Memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, 686 Jeff Davis Dr., Spartanburg, SC 29303. The family would like to express their appreciation to her devoted friend and caregiver Robert Allen. A private burial will be held at a later date.
