Doris Ann Satterfield

April 12, 1952 — February 19, 2024

Spartanburg

Doris Ann Satterfield, whose journey began in Spartanburg, South Carolina on April 12, 1952. Doris, a graduate of Chapman High School, embarked on a career that wove through peach farms and various retail stores, making her presence felt with her dedication and warmth.

In her lifetime, Doris found joy in the simple things - from the golden fields of peach orchards to the laughter shared within the walls of family homes. Her love for life resonated in her pursuits; traveling to distant lands, feeling the grains of sand beneath her feet at the beach, and relishing every moment gifted to her.

At the heart of Doris's world was her beloved family. Her husband Roy stood as a pillar of strength by her side through it all. Joshua Rash, her son, held a special place in her heart, as did Brenda Henderson, her sister. The laughter of Colby and Lennon Rash, grandsons who brought light into her days, will forever echo in her memory. And the smiles of Aubrey Rash and Aeralynn Desrochers, granddaughters she cherished dearly, will continue to illuminate the path she walked. She was predeceased by her older sister Margaret Satterfield, and younger Sister Wanda Hutchins.

Doris Ann Satterfield's legacy is not merely in the years she spent among us but in the love she sowed, the memories she etched into our hearts. As we bid farewell to a soul so deeply cherished, let us carry forward the essence of who she was - a beacon of love, simplicity, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. May her spirit find solace in fields of peach blossoms eternal.

In honoring her wishes there will be a Private Burial.
