Dora Nellums

Dora Inez Nellums, 65, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Agape Care in Landrum, SC, after a very short battle with ALS. Born November 8, 1956 in Bayminette, AL, she was the daughter of the late Buck Henry and Alfreda Margaret O’Connor Nellums.

Dora was well-known for her love of Elvis Presley. In her free time, Dora enjoyed sewing, quilting, canning vegetables and laying by the pool. She enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents, her infant daughter, Selena Rust and a sister, Doris Virginia Nellums Egido.

Survivors include her siblings, John C. Nellums (Judy), Harriet L. Skinner, Catherine Meyer (Ron), Robert E. Nellums, Phillip Nellums, and Dorothy E. Nellums; her daughters, Melissa O’Neal Griffin (Bucky), April Rust, Cassie Andrea Smith (Sam); grandchildren, Daniel Griffin, James Griffin, Savannah Griffin, Destiny Heran (JunJun), Jakob Kite, Autumn Kite, and Ariel Kite; great grandchildren, Ezekiel Heran and Kade Kite. She was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
