Donnie Mathis Poole

Donnie K. Poole, 92, of Spartanburg, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.  Born May 10, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Margaret Garrett and Lawrence Mathis.

Mrs. Poole retired after 26 years of service from Springs Mill and was a member of Cannons Campground United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a sister, Gencey M. Cobb and a nephew, Doug Cobb (Nicole).  Donnie was predeceased by her husband, Elmer J. C. Poole and her son, Elmer Jay Poole.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 12:00 NOON at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC, 29307 conducted by The Rev. David Erwin and Mr. Lane Lytle.  Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
