Donnie Bridges

Donnie Ray Bridges, 44, of Spartanburg, SC, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 in Spartanburg. Born September 26, 1977 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Teresa Ann Koon and the late Donald Glenn Blackwell.

An avid fisherman and hunter, who also loved NASCAR.

Survivors include his son, Trevor Bridges of Spartanburg, SC, his daughter, Gracie Bridges of Ohio, his stepdaughters, McKenzie Bridges of Ohio and Kelia Holt of Ohio, his grandson, Jordan Bridges of Columbia, SC, his sister, Anna Blackwell of Boiling Springs, SC, his brother, Patrick Blackwell (Angela) of Boiling Springs, SC, his niece, Ryleigh Ann M. Blackwell of Boiling Springs, SC, and his grandmother, Irene Blackwell. He was also predeceased by his grandparents, Ray Koon and Elizabeth Koon.

Visitation will be 4:00 – 5:00 PM Monday, January 24, 2022 at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4081 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. A Funeral service will be at 5:00 PM Monday, at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Jim Rutledge.
