Donald Quay Lightner

Donald Quay Lightner passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023, at the age of 84, in Greenville. He was born on January 9, 1939, in Harrisburg, PA to Paul Clair and Beulah Smith Lightner.

Mr. Lightner was a retiree of Pennsy Concrete Company (formerly Island Concrete Company) and of the Methodist faith.

He is survived by his son Theodore (Ted) Mark Lightner (Dorothy), two grandchildren Rachel Lightner Eperson and Abigail Lightner, as well as his companion Lana M. Paez. He was predeceased by his wife Susie Jean Sites Lightner and brothers Steve Lightner and Paul Lightner.

In accordance with family wishes, a private service will be held for Mr. Lightner in Greenville.

The contributions made by Donald to society through his life and work will always be remembered. His family would like to thank everyone who has offered support during this difficult time.
