Delores Fay Lindsey, a loving mother, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 14, 2026.

Delores was born in Hendersonville, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Earl Hollingsworth and the late Mary Womick. She was also preceded in death by her son: Robert “Bobby” Mcleod; a sister: Lisa Womick.

Delores was a waitress for many years. She was a member of East Spartanburg Church of God. Her final words to her loved ones were, “Meet me in Heaven.” She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She treasured the time spent with her great grandchildren. She also enjoyed serving her Lord.

She is survived by her two daughters: Makayleigh McLeod and Rachel Medellian (Jose); her grandchildren: Jeremiah Mata, Ethan Mata, and Samatha Spencer (Dylan); and three precious great grandchildren: Alyson, Madeline, and Greyson Spencer; a sister: Dee Waddell; a brother: Nicky Duncan.

A memorial service will be held to honor Delores’s life at 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at East Spartanburg Church of God, 134 Brooklyn Rd, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Pastor Jason Cantrell will officiate the service. Delores will be laid to rest in a private family gathering in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials made to the East Spartanburg Church of God Building fund.

The arrangements are entrusted to the care of Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel.
