David Walker

David Lee Walker, 72, of Spartanburg, SC, died Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Skylyn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born October 8, 1949 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Anderson Leroy Walker.

David was retired from Arrow Automotive. He was also a blacksmith and welder. His hobbies were trains, model cars, playing his guitar and banjo.

Survivors include his mother, Cora Cloninger Walker Smith, his brother, Phillip Edward Walker (Patty), along with his nieces and nephews, Kathryn Rose Walker, Karen Denise Walker, Nathaniel Phillip Walker (Casey) and their daughter, Olivia Walker.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Daniel Blackwell. Visitation will be at the graveside.
