David Gaston

David O’Neill Gaston, 83, of Pauline, SC, died Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.  Born May 2, 1939, in Whitney, SC, he was the son of the late White Oneal and Alice Lucille Cox Gaston.

David was a former manager with Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Survivors include his daughters, Sherri Burnett (Stephen) of Pauline and Brenda Wade of Spartanburg; son, Gerald Gaston (Kelly) of Spartanburg; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.  He was pre-deceased by his brother, Gary Holder.

Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Monday, February 20, 2023, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Glenn Taylor.
