Obituary

David Merril Bradley, 79, entered eternal rest peacefully on April 12, 2026, in Spartanburg, SCS. Born on April 8, 1947, in Westville, SC, he was the son of the late Marvin Columbus and Lucille Christmas Bradley.

David was a graduate of Baron Dekalb High School and went on to be an Honor Graduate of Sumter Technical School with a degree in electronics. He built a rewarding career, retiring from AT&T after 40 years of dedicated service. On November 26, 1988, David married the love of his life, Sandy Margaret Rogers. Their marriage was a true partnership, characterized by mutual respect and a shared joy for life. Together they embraced life’s adventures, creating countless cherished memories and enjoying every moment that came their way. David enjoyed cooking and gardening.

David is survived by his son, Scott Bradley of Camden, SC, his stepson, Benjamin Moore (Judy) of Portland, OR, grandsons, Jacob Moore of Austin, TX and Nicholas Moore of Boston, MA, and his best fur-baby friend, Bella.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Roebuck Baptist Church Cemetery, followed by a Graveside service at 2:00 pm to honor and celebrate the life of David.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spartanburg Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303. A special thanks to all of those that cared for David.
