Dave Sanders

Dave Blaine Sanders, 59, of Spartanburg, passed away Thursday, October 18, 2012. Born June 15, 1953, in Salisbury, NC, he was the son of Martha Jean and Herman Wilbur Sanders of Hixson, TN. A graduate of the University of Memphis and an engineer and project manager, he also enjoyed music, reading, and spending time outdoors. In addition to his parents, survivors include his three daughters, Joni Sanders Laycook of Crownsville, MD, Sara Jane Sanders of Asheville, NC, and Hanna Blayne Sanders of Spartanburg, SC; two grandchildren; and his sister, Donna Jones of Hixson, TN. A memorial service honoring his life will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 20, 2012, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Bill Bethea.
