Daniel Kirby

Daniel Adolphus Kirby, 48, of Cowpens, SC, died Monday, March 2, 2020, at Spartanburg Medical Center-Mary Black Campus. Born July 14, 1971, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Lois Estelle Seagle Kirby of the home and the late Robert Lee Kirby. Daniel loved gardening, fishing, and racing. He was a member of Gospel Baptist Church in Cowpens, a fixer, welder, and carpenter in the textile industry, and a caregiver for his mother. In addition to his mother, survivors include his siblings, Robin Kirby-Ivey (Michael) of Spartanburg, SC, Jackie Bible (Todd) of Union, SC, and James Craig Kirby of Cowpens, SC; nephews and niece, Thomas Lee Kirby Jr. and Nathaniel Ethan Bible of Cowpens, SC, and Heather Nichole Prikhodko (Denis) of Clifton, SC. He was predeceased by his father and three brothers, Thomas Lee Kirby, Mark Hershel Kirby, and Brian Stacy Kirby. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2020, in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens, 175 Cemetery St., Cowpens, SC 29330, by The Rev. John Lee.
