Daniel Blakeley

Daniel Walter Blakeley, 66, of Spartanburg, SC died Sunday, October 2, 2022. Born November 14, 1955 in Danbury, CT, he was the son of Jean Marion Humeston Blakeley and the late Frederick Walter Blakeley.

Daniel was an engineer for the SC Department of Transportation and was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of 30 years, Tina May Humiston Blakeley; sons, Steven Joseph Blakeley (Connie) of Florida, and Brett Daniel Blakeley (Sandy Lynn) of Massachusetts; daughter, Karen Cheryl Blakeley of New Haven, CT; grandchildren, Fiona Blakeley, Amelie Blakley, Owen Blakeley, Clementine Blakeley and Viviana Blakeley; and siblings, Doug Blakeley of Wellford, SC, David Blakeley of New Fairfield, CT and Donna Phoebus of Lyman, SC. Daniel is predeceased by a grandchild, Leonardo Blakeley.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Hwy 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Boiling Springs Memorial Gardens.
