Dan Crosby Dallas

Dan Crosby Dallas, 72, of Spartanburg, died Friday, August 18, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was born on May 18, 1951, in Spartanburg, a son of the late Harry Woodrow and Ester Willard Dallas.

He retired from Spartanburg Steel Company and Walmart - Dorman Center. He was a member of Beaumont Baptist Church and loved jogging, swimming, kayaking, riding his bicycle, while carrying his camera all the time taking photographs.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janice Elm Dallas, two daughters, Cindy Tipton (Danny) and Tracy Webber (Brent), five grandchildren, Kyle Gilbert (Jean), Austin Webber, Jasmine Webber, Dylan Tipton, and Dallas Tipton; two great grandchildren, Charlotte Gilbert and Violet Gilbert; sister, Becky Putnam (Ronnie); brother, Steve Dallas and his special feline buddy “Scooter”.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, August 21, 2023, at Beaumont Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Glenn Taylor. Visitation will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beaumont Baptist Church, 945 Beaumont Avenue, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
