Constance Ann Martin Muzzy of Spartanburg, South Carolina went to her eternal home in Heaven on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at the age of 88.
Constance was born in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late William B Martin and the late Florabelle Cooper Martin. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Leslie Muzzy Bice.
Constance was a retired secretary with The Charles Lea Center. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a very active member of St Paul United Methodist Church and was a member of the Altar Guild. She was a devoted past Chair of the Altar Guild for many years. She was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class and The Anne Ratliff Circle. She served as a past president of her Homeowners Association (HOA). To meet her was to love her and she will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Left to cherish Constance’s many memories are her devoted husband: Robert Elmer Muzzy; her son: Christopher “Chris” Alan Muzzy; her adopted daughter: Lisa Smith Thompson (Ronald T.); grandson: Nathaniel James Muzzy; Lisa’s daughter: Shannon O’Farrell Barwick (Josh); a sister: Helen Marie Morris (Ronald E); and her canine companion that she loved very much: Lulu Marie Muzzy.
A memorial service to honor Constance's and her husband's, Dr Robert "Bob" Elmer Muzzy, will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1320 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Pastor Megan Gray will be officiating the service. A private family inurnment will take place in the Heritage Chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for memorial contributions made in Constance's memory to St. Paul United Methodist Church or the Spartanburg Humane Society.
Constance memories will continue to live in the hearts of everyone that loved her.
