Christine Wilson

Christine Elizabeth Chapman Wilson, 81, of Roebuck passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at her home. Born July 17, 1941, to the late Clarence William and Lillian Mae Hombarger Chapman, she was the wife of the late James Woodrow Wilson.

Christine loved having family get-togethers. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was all about spending as much time with her family as possible. All her family would tell you that her cooking was their favorite. Christine took great care of her yard, especially her flowers. She enjoyed sitting on her porch, enjoying the view, for hours.

Survivors include her children, Randy Wilson (Tammy) of Roebuck, Sheila Condrey (Dwight) of Roebuck, and Tonya Stacy (Jason) of Campobello; grandchildren, Tiffany Sherbert (Joel) of Roebuck, Nicole Page (Jake) of Roebuck, Kayla Irelan (Austin) of El Paso, TX, Jonathan Wilson (Alexus) of Spartanburg, Jeremy Willis (Stephene) of Pauline, Charity Carver (Travis) of Boiling Springs, Tyler Stacy of Campobello, and Marissa Stacy of Campobello; 17 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Larry Chapman of Georgia, Frances Gates of Spartanburg, Barbara Arnold (Jerry) of Spartanburg, Bobby Chapman of Spartanburg, and Richard Chapman of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by her husband and parents.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 pm Monday, October 17, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. A Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at the chapel, conducted by The Rev. Kenneth Cash. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, 1955 Cannons Campground Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
