Christine Baytes

Christine Jarrett Baytes, 75, formerly of Boiling Springs, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Magnolia Manor-Inman. Born April 5, 1936, in Adairsville, GA, she was the widow of Herschel Howard Baytes, and daughter of the late William A. and Alma Carroll Jarrett. Mrs. Baytes was a member of Adairsville Methodist Church, a former Sunday School teacher, and former employee of Butte Knit. Survivors include her sisters, Louise Bailey of Calhoun, GA, and Daisy Belle Kinsey of Lithia Springs, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sherry Baytes. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 18, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, by the Rev. Dean Elliott. Visitation will follow at the graveside.
