Chris Steadman

John Christopher "Chris" Steadman, 56, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born May 14, 1962, in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late John Calhoun Steadman and Sara Elizabeth Cobb Steadman. Chris was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and of the Methodist faith. Surviving are his sister, Linda Robertson of Spartanburg, SC; and three nieces. Private services will be conducted on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
