Cheryle Hadden Moore, of Spartanburg, entered into eternal rest on Friday evening, May 1, 2026. Cheryle was born on January 9, 1947, in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Helen Cantrell Hadden and J. Henry Hadden.

Cheryle was the beloved mother of her son, Gregory Dean Moore, and a devoted grandmother to Reagan Elizabeth Moore and Henry David Moore. She was also a loving and supportive sister to her twin, Carmen Hadden Miller, and a very special aunt to her nieces, Carmen Heather Herrington and Dabney Hadden Minish, and her late nephew, John “Josh” Littleton Minish.

She was a life-long educator, having spent many years as a teacher and a mentor to all who entered her classroom at Woodruff High School.

Cheryle also was very involved in her church of 40 years, Holy Communion Lutheran Church. She served the Lord faithfully through her work in the church office and other ministries.

Spending time tending to her yards and watching the Atlanta Braves brought Cheryle much joy and happiness through the years.
