Ceova Bohrer

Ceova Darsella Sprouse Bohrer, 84, formerly of Lyman, passed away at Rosecrest Retirement Community, Sunday, March 26, 2023.  Born June 28, 1938, in Joanna, SC, she was a daughter of the late James D. “JD” and Geneva Gosnell Sprouse.

Mrs. Bohrer was retired from the U. S. Government as Administrative Assistant and also worked as Assistant Auditor for the IRS.  She was a member of Lyman First Baptist Church and loved to travel, camp and reading.

Survivors are a son, Charles Randall Bohrer (Norma) of Framingham, MA, and a daughter, Rowena Bohrer Durham (Warren) of Columbus, NC; Grandchildren, Michael Bohrer, Eric Bohrer, and Samantha Durham.  She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Charles Richard Bohrer.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00PM, Friday, March 31, 2023 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC, 29307, conducted by The Rev. Jeff Hickman.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC, 29307.
