Catherine Jane Childers

Catherine Jane Childers, 66, of Boiling Springs, SC, passed away on Friday afternoon, January 24, 2025, at her residence. Cathy was born on August 4, 1958, in Spartanburg, SC, a daughter to the late Joyce Lindsay Turner and John Tillman Turner.

Cathy enjoyed being outdoors and working in her gardens. Caring for her cats brought immense joy to Cathy.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Alvin Glenn Childers; her grandson; her brothers, Jerry Turner (Gina) and Ronnie Turner (Kim); and several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Cathy was predeceased by her sister, Sharon Diane Horton.

The family will be planning a memorial service for a later date.

The family will be at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303.
