Carolyn Caldwell

Carolyn Sue Burdine Caldwell, 76, of Spartanburg, died Friday, January 1, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1944 in Lompoc, CA, a daughter to the late Talmadge and Ollie Proe Burdine and was married for 54 years to the late John Vernon Caldwell. Mrs. Caldwell was a member of First Baptist North Spartanburg and was retired from General Electric. Surviving is a daughter, Kim Blackwell (Tony) of Spartanburg; a son, Johnny Caldwell (Carmen) of Spartanburg; ten grandchildren, Katelin, Justin, Thomas, Michael, Samantha, Tony, Alicia, Amanda, Katlyn and Elizabeth; seven great-grandchildren, Chastin, Channing, Piper, Alaina, Mia, Hailey and Jaylen. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale, Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Floyd's N.
