Carol Ann Garvin Crowe, 68, of Arcadia, died Monday, July 3, 2023, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 24, 1954, in Spartanburg, a daughter of the late Luther Benjamin and Beulah Atkins Garvin.

She was the administrative assistant to the Dean of Health and Human Science Department at Spartanburg Community College, where she had served for the past 20 years. A member of Sulphur Springs Baptist Church in Pauline, she served as the church treasurer and a choir member.

Surviving is her husband of 45 years, David Arnold Crowe; a daughter, Whitney C. Fowler (Stephen) of Lake City, SC; two grandchildren, Marion Fowler and Norah Kate Fowler; a sister, Cathy Ward (Tony) of Mauldin; a brother, Charles (Chuck) Garvin (Elvie) of Columbia, SC; and her special feline baby, “Boogs”.

Visitation will be from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Floyd’s North Church Street Chapel, 235 North Church Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 pm in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Richard Dickens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, PO Box 247, Pauline, SC 29374.
