Byron Morris

Byron Leslie Morris, of Roebuck, died Saturday, April 11, 2009, at his home. Born April 28, 1941, in Williamson, WV, he was the son of the late Bert Wesley and Clara Thompson Morris. He was a retired purchasing agent for Koch Industries, Kosa Division, and a member of First Baptist Church of North Spartanburg. Survivors include his wife of 47years, Peggy Louise Gandee Morris; two sons, Scott Morris and his wife Tami, and Jeff Morris and his wife Narda, all of Spartanburg; a brother, David Morris and his wife Sherry of Simpsonville; and seven grandchildren, B.J., Colby, Jamie, Logan, Skylan, Collin, and Corbin. Visitation will be 11:00-12:30 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2009, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM at the Chapel conducted by the Rev. Dr. Michael S. Hamlet. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
