Bronwyn McMillan Cox, 74, of Boiling Springs, SC, died Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Upstate Community Hospice Home. Born November 15, 1947 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late George and Ruth Rolen McMillan and the wife of the late Jerry Marshall Cox.
Mrs. Cox earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Winthrop College. Bronwyn was a retired art teacher at Boiling Springs Elementary School in District Two. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Alice Elizabeth Cox of Landrum, SC; her sisters, Marilyn Clarkson (Phil) of Cowpens, SC and Teresa McMillan of Spartanburg, SC; and her nephews, Adam Clarkson and Mark Clarkson of Cowpens, SC. She was predeceased by her brother, Chuck McMillan.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Floyd’s Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Joanne R. Hull, with Eulogy by Sylvia Turner. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307.
