Brian Jonas

Brian Alan Jonas, 53, died Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Northside Hospital in Gwinnett, GA.  Born July 19, 1968, in Spartanburg, SC, a son of Faye McGinnis Jonas of Cowpens and the late Lloyd Rufus Jonas.

Mr. Jonas was a Project Manager with Siemens Mechanical and a U. S. Navy veteran.

Survivors along with his mother are sons, Kyle Lee Jonas, of Lawrenceville, GA, and James Robert Jonas of Acworth, GA, and the mother of his sons, Leslie S. Jonas; two sisters, Janice Jonas Childers (Rev. Ty) of Spartanburg, and Karen Jonas Dorsett (Rev. Dr. Terry) of Northborough, MA; and a special friend Kathy Whitaker of Grayson, GA.

Visitation will be 12:30-1:30PM, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Fairview Baptist Church, 1551 Bryant Rd., Spartanburg, SC, 29303.  Services will follow at 2:00 PM conducted by the Rev. Ty Childers and the Rev. Dr. Terry Dorsett. Burial with military rights will be in the church cemetery.
