Brenda Hucks Myers, 74, of Spartanburg, died Friday afternoon, July 14, 2023, at her residence. She was born January 11, 1949, in Norfolk, VA, a daughter of the late Archie Herbert and Edith Martin Hucks. Brenda was married to the late Theodore Alva Myers, Jr.
Brenda was a very talented artisan whose specialty was painting children’s clothing and furniture.
Surviving are her two daughters, Stephanie Dawn Myers (Ken) of Fernandina Beach, FL and Christy Myers Stroud of Spartanburg; her grandson, Manning Caldwell Stroud of Spartanburg; her fiancé, Stephen C. Stewart of the home; her brother, Herby Hucks (Sheila) of Lexington, SC; and her two sisters, Tammie Hucks of Rock Hill, SC and Pammy Erbland (Duke) of Socastee, SC.
A private family graveside service was held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Interim Healthcare Hospice, 16 Hyland Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
