Beverly Jean Taylor

Beverly Jean Taylor, 73, of Arcadia, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

Beverly was born in Lyman, South Carolina, the daughter of the late Eugene Andrews and the late Colleen McGarity. She was a retired manager with the Spartanburg Housing Authority. She was a faithful member at the First Baptist Church in Arcadia, South Carolina. She was also a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her many memories are her husband of thirty-nine years: John W Taylor; her children: Scott Sisk (Dimitra), Charles K Sisk (Kim), and Kristie M Sisk (Antony); her grandchildren: Britney Kornahrens (Ryan), Emily E Sisk, Taylor A Sisk, Jeffry Sisk, Kenneth Sisk, Matthew Sisk, Joey Sisk, Cody Sisk, Zach Sisk, John Inman, and Brayden Sisk; a sister: Becky S Smith (Dean); sixteen great grandchildren also survive.

The family will receive friends between 12:00 – 1:15 PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Arcadia First Baptist Church, 241 Spring St., Arcadia, SC 29320. The funeral service to honor Beverly’s life will follow at 1:30 PM with Rev, Mike Dolescell officiating. The burial will follow the funeral service in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Beverly’s memories will live for years to come in the hearts of her family and friends.
