Beverly June Hefner

Beverly June Kendall Hefner, 97, passed away on November 27, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Washington, Pennsylvania to the late, Frank and Emma Kendall.

Beverly loved to golf, she enjoyed cultivating flowers, plants and all things outdoors, her farm in Ocala, playing bridge with her friends and watching football. Beverly was a seamstress and an artist, who was inspired by her husband Dick to paint primarily animals. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will be dearly missed.

She was predeceased by her devoted husband, S.W. "Dick" Hefner, Jr.; sons: Timothy "Tim" Hefner and Jeffrey Todd Hefner; and a brother, Frank "Jack" (Mary Anne) Kendall.

Beverly is survived by her son, Steven (Ruth) Hefner; daughter, Cindy (Jay) Hockett; grandchildren: Todd (Camille) Hockett, Ryan Hockett, Jennifer (Rob) Stephenson and Jocelyn (Timm) Kempe; great-grandchildren: Sybil Allem, Sophia Allem, Jake Hockett, Oskar Kempe and Ivy Kempe; daughter-in-law, Debbie Hefner; nieces: Leigh (Michael) Outlaw, Kathy (Lou) Kendall and Karen (Daniel) Munoz; nephews: Buz (Janet) Outlaw, Mark (Shelly) Outlaw and Frank Kendall Jr.; and a host of grand-nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces.

A celebration gathering will be held at 11AM to 1PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Hardage-Giddens St Johns Funeral Home, 1285 St Johns Parkway, St Johns, Florida. Beverly will be laid to rest with her husband and family in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 13, 2025, Spartanburg, SC, 1300 Fernwood- Glendale Rd.
