Betty Darlene Blanken

Betty Darlene “Tincy” Blanken, 68, of Spartanburg, passed away early Sunday morning, at Magnolia Manor Nursing facility. Tincy was born on August 7, 1956, in Spartanburg County, a daughter of the late Gertrude Gurley Blanken and Calvin Blanken.

Tincy was of the Baptist faith and she attended The Charles Lea Center.

Surviving is a sister, Cherilyn Praytor of Spartanburg; two nieces, Rhonda Praytor and Donna Norris; and four nephews, Allen Praytor, Andy Praytor, Joey Praytor, and Ronnie Praytor, Jr. She was predeceased by a sister, Willie Blanken Praytor; and a nephew, Donald Praytor, Jr.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2024, at Oak Grove Cemetery, 350 North Blackstock Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301, conducted by the Rev. Kevin Smith.
