Bertha "Pete" Holcombe

Bertha M. Holcombe, 96, of Spartanburg, SC, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at her home. Born February 2, 1926, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Andrew and Bertha Molly Neely Beheler and was the wife of the late Richard Talmadge Holcomb.

Bertha was a member of Pacolet Road Baptist Church in Gaffney, SC.

Survivors include her son, Richard Lewis Holcombe of Spartanburg, SC, her granddaughters, Anissa Knighten (Randy) of Inman, SC and Anita Holcombe (Lisa) of Moncks Corner, SC, and great granddaughter, Angelica Bowlds of Inman, SC, along with several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be 3:00 pm Friday, April 15, 2022, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Road, Spartanburg, SC 29307, conducted by The Rev. Jack Caldwell. Visitation will follow at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pacolet Road Baptist Church, 1104 Pacolet Hwy., Gaffney, SC 29340.
