Barbara Morse

Barbara Faye Morse, 71, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023, at her home.  Born September 28, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Lula Wilkey and Dale Harvey.

Barbara retired from Publix Super Market as a meat cutter.  She was a sweet woman who loved her family and love to speak the language of love with her cooking.  Barbara was a wonderful wife and was married to her soulmate.  She had lots of friends but if you made her angry, she was a firecracker.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Burr Morse of 30 years; a son, Jerry M Howell II (Kim L.) of Hertford, NC; two daughters, Michelle R. McKnight of Forest City, NC and Melinda F. Dempsey (Joseph) of Port St. Lucie, FL; a brother, Jim Harvey (Marilyn); grandchildren, Troy J. and Jonathon Howell, Chase, Heather and Sandra McKnight, and Tabitha Trudel; great grandchild, Wolf Howell; many nieces and nephews in Ohio.  Mrs. Morse was predeceased by a son, Troy J. Howell and sisters, Connie Carnahan and Judy Harvey.

The family will have a service at a later date.
