Balubhai Patel

Balubhai Motibhai Patel, 78, of Spartanburg, died Sunday, January 8, 2012, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center-ER. Born October 8, 1933, in Sinhooj, India, he was the son of the late Motibhai and Maniben Patel. Mr. Patel was a general contractor in the farming irrigation industry and a member of Baps Swaminarayan. Survivors include his wife, Manjulaben Patel; sons, Kiran Patel of Quincy, FL and Mahesh (Mukesh) Patel of Spartanburg; daughter, Bina Patel of Cleveland, OH; five grandchildren; and a sister, Induben Patel of Florida. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 12, 2012, at Floyd's North Church Street Chapel, by Sidhdharth Shukla.
