Ashley Young

Ashley Shane Young, 49, of Moore, SC, died Friday, August 19, 2022 at his home. Born December 27, 1972 in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of William David Young and Sheryl Crook Arthur.

Ashley was a veteran musician. He was a member of Celebrate Recovery and his band, “Big Radio” and was of the Baptist faith. Ashley enjoyed making others laugh and loved all with his big heart.

Survivors include his son, Ashton Caleb Young, (fiancée, Amy Marie Palumbo); his parents, Sheryl Arthur (Wayne) of Moore, SC and William David Young (Donna) of Stanley, NC; his sisters, Sheridan Krauth (Carl) of Greenville, SC and Meredith Berry (Lee) of Stanley, NC; his beloved nephews, Cade Krauth, Nolan Berry and Grant Berry; and his rescue dog, “Ellie.”

Memorial service will be 10:30 am Friday, September 2, 2022 at Brookwood Church, 580 Brookwood Point Place, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
